Wildlife Commission Asks for Public Input

During its meeting on April 21, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission asked the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) to collect public comments on some items affecting deer hunting seasons.

Those items are as follows:

* A reduction of the Unit B antlered buck bag limit to 2.

* Closing the Unit A gun season two days earlier (January 7, 2005) and moving the late January Youth Hunt one week earlier (January 8-9, 2005).

* Allowing the use of crossbows during the main archery season.

* Opening of the South Fork Refuge in Madison County to hunting.
