Spring Hunting Regulations
Spring hunt regulations for javelina, turkey, buffalo and bear are available at license dealers across the state and via the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Internet site at azgfd.com.
The printed spring hunt regulation booklets were distributed to license dealers throughout the state late last week. The deadline to submit spring hunt permit applications to Game and Fish is 7 p.m. MST on Oct. 12; postmarks don’t count. For successful applicants, the hunt permit-tags will be mailed out by Nov. 19.
You can apply online or via the paper hunt permit application process by mail or at any Game and Fish Department office. Don’t forget: you must obtain a 2005 license to participate in the draw. If you are not licensed at the time you submit your hunt application form, you must apply for a license and include payment at the time you submit your paper hunt application form. For more information, download a copy of the spring regulations at azgfd.com or call (602) 942-3000.
