While it's great to see that

While it's great to see that they do have some elk hunting opportunity I was surprised to realize my one hunting unit has nearly as many tags as the entire state does up there. I had always though that the Dakotas had a ton of different hunting options when I was younger but now realise they don't have as many animals as I always thought. I'm sure some is habitat related but I have also recently become aware of how badly the winter can hurt the game herd up there.

Good luck to everyone hunting that state and hopefully I will be up there myself chasing antelope one of these days.
