A public hearing on Vermont's deer hunting rules for 2004 will be held Tuesday, August 10 at Vermont Technical College in Randolph.

The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Board is holding a public hearing as it prepares to adopt a regulation for the 2004 deer hunting seasons. The regulation simply replaces several legislative statutes that have been suspended. No changes are expected in 2004 deer hunting rules, in part because the Digest of Hunting, Fishing & Trapping Laws has been printed and distributed for this year.

"No changes are anticipated for this year," said Chairman of the Board Rob Borowske. "This is a house-keeping measure to support the rules as they appear in the lawbook."

The hearing is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. in Judd Auditorium at Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center. The college is off Interstate 89, Exit 4. Go up the hill to Randolph Center and the college.
