Nuisance Alligator Trapper Needed for Putnam Co., Florida

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Statewide Nuisance Alligator Program is accepting applications for a contracted nuisance alligator trapper in Putnam County.

Applicants must be residents of Putnam County and have a clean criminal history, including no fish or wildlife law violations. Preference will be given to those who live west of County Road 315. 

Visit MyFWC.com/Alligator to learn about the requirements and to apply online. The FWC must receive applications by close of business on Monday, Oct. 31.

A great means to become a contractor for the state's wildlife agency.  Make your name known here and you can definitely become a prefered contractor.  Nice that the state of Florida uses alternate means on some of these nuisance issues rather than spending valuable time that could be used elsewhere for animal management needs in the state.
