Non-Resident Archery Deer Hunting Permit Drawing

Sangchris Lake State Park and Siloam Springs State Park will have a limited number of archery deer hunting permits for non-residents who want to hunt this fall.

Drawings for those permits will be held on May 19. Applications will be accepted at the parks by mail or in person beginning April 19. Successful applicants will be notified by mail. Hunters may apply in a group of no more than four per application. Residents may hunt these sites anytime during legal statewide seasons by signing in at the site. Non-residents may hunt anytime before or after the below dates without a non-resident site permit.

Non-Residents Permit Season dates are as follows:
1. Oct 22-28, 2004
2. Oct 29 - Nov 4, 2004
3. Nov 5-11, 2004
4. Nov 12-18, 2004

Non-residents must have a statewide archery deer permit, a non-resident hunting license and a habitat stamp in addition to a site permit. The statewide permit can only be obtained via phone using a credit card. There is a quota for these permits and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sales will begin at 8 am.
