New Brunswick Non-resident Moose Hunts Available

Want to hunt moose in New Brunswick? One hundred licences are available to non-resident hunters. You must apply to our annual computer draw.

  • * Your main place of residence must be outside New Brunswick.
  • * You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
  • * You must show proof of having held a hunting licence in a previous year or taken Hunter Education course.
  • * You must hunt with a licensed New Brunswick guide. Contact one of our District offices for a list.
  • * You can only hunt in one zone. Choose this zone when you pick up your licence. Your outfitter or guide will help you with this choice.

This is an automated system. Use a touch-tone phone. Have your information ready. A non-refundable application fee* ($39.55 Canadian) will be charged to your credit card.

You will need:

  • * Visa or MasterCard – number and expiry date
  • * Date of birth

Only one application may be made per person. Once your payment is accepted, you will be given a draw number. If successful, you will need this number to purchase your licence.

Results available: May 17 - June 11, 2010


All licences not purchased by June 11 will be available to other non-resident hunters on our waiting list. This list is randomly generated at the time of the draw. If you are on the waiting list, you will be informed when you call the results line.
