Kansas Muzzleloader, Youth & Disabled Deer Seasons

Preliminary Muzzleloader Season Statistics
Hunters took 23,056 deer during Ohio’s four-day muzzleloader season, December 27-30, with Tuscarawas County again leading the state with 930 deer checked. Last year, a preliminary total of 27,749 deer was taken during muzzleloader season.
Muzzleloader Deer Harvest Follows Downward Trend
Missouri’s muzzleloader deer hunting season saw 15 percent fewer deer checked than last year. The decreased muzzleloader harvest follows the trend set in the three preceding portions of firearms deer season.
Muzzleloader Deer Season Opens December 12
West Virginia 's six-day muzzleloader deer season begins December 12 and continues through December 17, 2005 in all counties open to firearm hunting for deer, according to the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.
Early Muzzleloader Season Results
Hunters took 101 deer at Salt Fork Wildlife Area, 82 deer at Wildcat Hollow, and 42 deer at Shawnee State Forest . Last year, hunters took a total of 210 deer for the season; 108 deer at Salt Fork Wildlife Area, 78 deer at Wildcat Hollow, and 24 deer at Shawnee State Forest

Nebraska deer hunters are experiencing another great year of deer hunting and although the November firearm season has ended, there is still plenty of time to hunt deer with archery equipment or muzzleloaders.
First Segment of Muzzleloader Season
The first segment of Tennessee's Muzzleloader/Archery Deer Season opens on Saturday, November 5 and goes through Friday, November 11 in all three of Tennessee's deer hunting units, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).
Muzzleloader Deer Season Opens Oct. 22
The statewide season runs Oct. 22-30, offering nine days of traditional-style hunting that harkens back to the early days of Oklahoma's hunting heritage. Hunting with a muzzleloading firearm offers a great chance for Oklahoma hunters to harvest a deer, and possibly a big buck. Additionally, cool breezes and fall colors make it a great time to be out in the woods.
Early Muzzleloader Deer Season Opens October 20
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announces that Maryland’s 2005 Muzzleloader Deer Season will open on October 20. Several amendments have been made regarding Region A Early Muzzleloader Deer Season. In addition, the process for registering deer has also been changed.
