Mountain Lion Management Meeting
The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) is gathering public input for long-range mountain lion management plans in southern Colorado.
Anyone interested in providing input is invited to an open house on June 22 in the Sullivan Banquet Room at Trinidad State Junior College from 6-9 p.m. The “open house” format enables the public to arrive at any time during the three-hour period.
DOW personnel will be available to answer questions and meet with participants who want to weigh in with their viewpoints. Written comments are also encouraged.
Wildlife managers will provide the public with information about Colorado’s mountain lion population estimates, hunting quotas, and provide background about mountain lion management in the state.
