Montana FWP Openings Available for Hunters Ed
Seats still open for April 23-28 Hunter Ed course in Glasgow.
Openings for about a dozen students remain for the first of three Hunter Education courses offered this year in the Glasgow area.
The first course will be held the week of April 23-28 in Fish, Wildlife & Parks' Quonset classroom behind the Region 6 headquarters and students must pre-register by stopping by FWP's headquarters during business hours or calling 228-3700.
Other local classes this year include a May 14-19 session in Glasgow and an Aug. 13-18 course in Fort Peck.
According to state law, anyone born after Jan. 1, 1985 must successfully complete the free Hunter Education course in order to buy a hunting license in Montana. The minimum age for hunting in Montana is 12.
