Setting 2005 big game seasons and regulations and addressing recommendations on grizzly bear occupancy following delisting highlight the April 26-27 Game and Fish Commission meeting in Casper.

The commission will hear about the G&F’s 2005 financial condition and proposed 2006 budget. Overviews of the G&F Web site and ongoing drought will also be presented.

In addition to big game, the commission will also set early migratory game bird and sage grouse seasons. The commissioners will also receive a presentation on the special report on the grizzly bear occupancy public input process.

Other topics to be presented to the seven-member board:

-- G&F annual employee awards

-- domestic/bighorn sheep interaction

At 3:05 p.m. April 26, public comments will be accepted on topics not on the agenda. Feedback on agenda items will be accepted following each presentation if time permits. Attendees are encouraged to arrive before scheduled times in case the agenda is ahead of schedule.
