FWC Quota Hunt Applications Due by June 11
Time is running short for sportsmen who plan to take part in the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC’s) quota hunts this fall. Applications have to arrive at the FWC’s quota hunt office, by mail, no later than June 11.
The good news is the quota of hunters for the Tate’s Hell Wildlife Management Area (WMA) still hunt area will be 150 rather than 100, since the state purchased the 13,000-acre Crooked River Tract and added it to the WMA.
The Tate’s Hell spring turkey hunter quota also increased from 25 to 35. Spring turkey quota applications will be available Oct. 25.
