Free Tag Application Workshop
Big game hunters looking for an edge in Nevada’s tag draw should attend the 4th annual Big Game Tag Application Workshop held by the Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW).
The free workshop will explain the tag allocation and drawing process from A to Z. Presentation topics include NDOW’s big game management program, tag quotas, harvest data and unit draw odds. Don Sefton of System Consultants, the company contracted by NDOW to conduct the drawing, will explain application procedures and how to avoid some common mistakes. Don will also discuss bonus points, party applications and other factors that can influence an applicant’s success. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.
The workshop will be held Wednesday, March 26, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Clark County Commission Chambers at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. No registration is required. Call NDOW at 486-5127 for more information.
