With spring fast approaching, now is the time for turkey hunters to learn the difference between a Merriam's and a Rio Grande.

On March 17, the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) Hunter Outreach Program will conduct a turkey-hunting seminar designed to provide participants with an overview of current laws and regulations and tips on how to locate turkeys and their habitats, among other skills.

The free seminar will take place 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the Hunter Education Building at the DOW headquarters at 6060 Broadway in Denver.

Anyone wishing to reserve a spot should call (303) 291-7545.
