DFG Offers Refunds for Hunters Impacted by National Forest Closures
The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) will issue refunds to deer hunters for unused tags in zones affected by the temporary forest closures in the greater Los Angeles area. The refunds will be for affected zones D11, D13, D14, D15, D19 and G13 zones.
To request a refund for unused deer tags for D11, D13, D14, D15 D19 and G13 zones, mail the original unused deer tag(s) to:

Hunters should allow eight to 10 weeks for refund processing. License agent handling fees and application processing fees are nonrefundable. Refunds will not be issued for hunting licenses. The deadline for requesting a deer tag refund is Jan. 31, 2003.
