The deadline for Limited Entry Hunt (LEH) applications for 2010 limited entry sheep hunts in the Skeena region (Region 6) has been moved to February 5, 2010, in order to provide hunters with more time to schedule and plan hunts in these remote areas. This includes all LEH sheep hunts listed below, including the Spatsizi (hunt code 6000), Mount Edziza (hunt code 6027), Atlin (hunt codes 6029, 6030), and Tatshenshini (hunt codes 6031 and 6032). This move aligns with the early Spatsizi sheep draw implemented in 2007, and is not to be confused with the special LEH draw.

As always, only one application for this early draw may be submitted per hunter and it must be submitted on a regular LEH application card. If you choose to apply for these early draws, please be advised that second choices are available but must be from one of the other early draw Skeena sheep hunts, i.e. if you apply for an early draw Skeena sheep hunt, your second choice must be for the Mount Edziza, Atlin, Tatshenshini, or Spatsizi sheep hunt. If you are successful in the early draw, you will not be eligible to apply for any other LEH mountain sheep hunt for 2010. If you apply for an early Skeena draw and do not receive a LEH authorization you may apply for any other mountain sheep hunt that will appear in the 2010-2011 Limited Entry Hunting Regulation Synopsis.

Applications must be received in Victoria by February 5, 2010.

Notification of draw results will be sent on February 20, 2010 for these hunts.
