Bighorn Lottery Permit Application Deadline
Resident big game hunters are reminded that applications for Nebraskas 2004 bighorn sheep hunting season lottery permit must be received at Nebraska Game and Parks Commission headquarters prior to midnight Aug. 13 to be included in the drawing. The winning application will be drawn at the Commission meeting in Broken Bow on August 27.
Lottery permit applications are available from permit vendors and Commission offices. Applications must include a non-refundable lottery fee of $20. Only Nebraska residents may apply. Applicants must be at least 12 years old by the date the season opens. It is unlawful to submit more than one application per calendar year for a lottery sheep permit. If more than one application is submitted by or for any person, all of his or her applications will be excluded from the drawing and accompanying lottery fees will be forfeited.
The lottery permit winner will receive free guide service, use of horses during the hunt, up to four nights lodging and meals for up to four days at Fort Robinson State Park.
