Kaibab Archery Hunters Must Purchase a $5 Stamp
Hunters planning an archery deer hunt on the Kaibab this fall need to add an item to their pre-hunt checklist- a $5 Kaibab archery deer stamp.
Archery Buck Deer Hunt Begins Aug. 16
Dry conditions and deer numbers that will be down slightly from last year await hunters when Utah's statewide general archery buck deer hunt begins Aug. 16. The hunt runs through Sept. 12 and permits to participate in it are still available.
Wildlife and Crossbow Rules Finalized
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department today announced final state rules regarding wildlife and wildlife management, as well as crossbow hunting. The new rules decrease the number of days during which muzzleloader or firearms hunters may hunt antlerless deer in some parts of the state during the upcoming deer hunting seasons.
Bowhunter Education Classes
Wanting to go archery hunting this fall? It's time to get signed up for class. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game will be hosting three classes over the next few weeks in Kimberly, Burley and Hailey.

Nonresident Archery Deer Permits
Illinois archery deer hunting permits for nonresidents of the state for the 2003-2004 season will go on sale on Saturday, July 12 at 8 a.m. The permits for nonresidents will only be available by telephone using a credit card to complete the transaction.
New Crossbow Hunting Regulations Proposed
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Wildlife and Heritage Service announced today a public comment opportunity on crossbow hunting changes. The Department recently convened a group of stakeholders from across the State to discuss the concept of additional opportunities for crossbow use in Maryland’s 2003-2004 deer hunting season framework.
Archery Paddlefish Tag Applications Available Online
The Nebraska Game & Parks Commission reminds anglers that applications for archery paddlefish are now being taken at the Commission’s Lincoln office, or online at www.outdoornebraska.org. The first application period is open from April 1 to April 30. The archery season is set for July 12-27.
Antler Restrictions Modified and Limited Crossbow Use Approved
The Board of Game Commissioners today gave final approval to the 2003-2004 deer seasons that includes modifications to antler restrictions and the use of crossbows in Wildlife Management Units 2B, 5C and 5D during certain firearms deer seasons.
Bowhunter Class Slots Available
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a bowhunter education class in Lincoln during April and there are still some slots available for those wishing to participate.
