The Belleville, Ont., native is the assistant district ranger in Fredericton. Nash attended the Maritime School of Forest Technology and joined the enforcement staff at Natural Resources in 1994.

Natural Resources Minister Keith Ashfield recently presented him with the award in Fredericton.
