$1000 Reward for Fort Bayard Poaching Information

The Department of Game and Fish is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals involved in the illegal killing of six elk near Fort Bayard. Five of the six animals were left in the field to waste. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. Oct. 7, 2002. Officers wish to speak with individuals who were seen leaving the area shortly after the incident in a gold or gray Toyota Tundra.
