Anotomy of an Elk Camp

For years, my son and son-in-law went on the archery elk hunt with me. Trying to get my new son-in-law on board, we took him on our archery elk hunt in 2008, along with my brother-in-law and one of my grandsons. We set up a comfortable camp in the Cascade Mountains and spent the next several days chasing the very illusive wapiti. Here are some pictures of camp life.....

I looked at your pics of the Elk camp and that brought back the urge to go back and look at mine again from when I went to Idaho just a few short year's ago. We did about the same thing with the campfire, good friends and food, OMG, never have I tasted such good food. Your pictures are great, Thx for sharing them.
