Alaska-Yukon Moose in the Yukon (Southeast of Watson Lake)

SCI Auction Hunt donated by Ceaser Lake Outfitters. They donate a great youth hunt with the parent as a companion. My son was 15 and surrounded by a lot of Moose Hunters in the airports and travelling that made him question if his 30-.06 was enough gun. Well, one well placed double lung shot flipped the Moose in its tracks relieving any doubt. Enjoy the pics.

Great Father & Son Hunt!

That is 7 great pictures that tell of a great father and son hunt. The really great thing is the donated hunt for youth. I'm certain this was just another very proud moment in your life on Jamie's accomplishment. These velvet antlers must hang proudly as well! Great story and pics - thanks for sharing them!

Hunting Tip: "Make Your Own" Dominant...

Here is a tip that was passed along to me - and I have not tried it yet - but it looks (and smells) like it will work fine! The gentleman that gave it to me regards it as his secret weapon and he is a VERY successful hunter. Get a fresh tarsal gland off of a decent buck - I think the ranker, the better. Taking them off of bucks that are hot in the rut seem to be the best because that is when the glands are the darkest and have the most "male buck" scent... Take that gland and put it in a good,...
