I read the 25 features and is very true, except I have to mention about baiting-
It may depend on where you live but We have no problems to get bears into bait sites. We use a special scent formula to attract them,it usually takes a bear from 3 to 5 days to hit a site ,once it is hit the bear usually returns from then on.Then there are certain places (according to where your hunting) the bear may not come back for 2 or 3 days but when it does that it will keep coming back for the treats and that free meal from then on.Although in certain locations, bears will den up in Oct. but up in Atlantic Canada they don't den up until the end of Nov.and if not a lot of snow and cold they will stay out until mid Dec.as we have seen happen for years up here in N.S.

We have no problems with baits, they hit everyday guaranteed and we change their diet every so often to keep them wondering what tastey treats awaits them and they compete for these sites as you can see. Here is a sample of a hot bait site-There is no problem guessing these bears sizes. We take only Mature adults, weighing from 300 to over 600 lbs.

A decent article but I don't agree with his comment that baiting is difficult. We put in a new bait and expect it to be hit when we check it a few days later. That comes, I suppose with having so many of the critters around so baiting here is easy, while a spot and stalk would be impossible because of the heavy cover.
