Bet next year they will quota hunt 4 more elk and e-bay 10 at that price. A new revenue stream FOR THE STATE!!!! May hunt them on private land next year anyway. I know someone who has MORE elk tracks than deer tracks on their property. They asked me not to shoot at the elk but that was before the elk were open to hunt. Bet the state will exploit the auction method to enrich themselves. And no I didn't get one illegally. I do respect the law and will wait for the hunt to open . Darn.
