The State is broke (in debt actually). Our elustrious governer decided that the sportsmen shoud bear the brunt of bailing the state out. "Blind" justace---at least Spitzer new how to run the state. Who really cares what his sexual exploits were as long as it did not involve children and he did not use the tax payers money to do it. But I digress and will stop now before I have to move this to the "political" section.

I agree, we sportsmen always seem to be the ones that have to fork out more bucks to bailout the state or the schools with our excize taxes or licence fee increases and this one one is like 30.00 over last years. What's Next!!!!!!!!

Well I went out and bought my Lifetime Sportsman, Archery and Muzzleloading licences befor the new pricing went into effect.
"What is next?"---Have you not heard that next year NYS want's to initiate 2 new stamps:
1-Trout, you will need to buy this stamp (along with a fishing licence) to trout fish in the state.
2-Pheasant, same thing along with a hunting licence to shoot pheasant's

I can almost buy a hunting/fishing licence in Pa. cheaper than in NYS. I just got my licence to for the fee of 98.00 with doe tag and only got one tag. Now they want a trout and phesant tag. Whats next walley, bass, crappie etc. tags?

I got my license the other day and didn't get a DMP for 3G but I did get 3F which is the next Section near me. I don't have any place to hunt in 3F. If anyone could recommend somewhere to me or allow me to hunt on their land it would be very much appreciated. I'm very ethical and respectful in my hunting practices. II do prefer to use my bow but will be happy using my shotgun .Thank you

If you outlaw guns only outlaws will have guns!
