good article. what was missing was the fact that controlled hunting would help control elephant populations, provide both meat and income to the local human population, help control poaching, and give greater value to respecting park boundaries. what also came thru was the near absolute control demanded by CITES, which scares me immensely, and makes me wonder what would happen to hunting here if they get involved.
