From the artical posted above.....
Can this be correct?

"Aircrews killed three gray wolves in December. In January, they shot a fourth wolf from the pack along the East Fork of the Salmon River near Clayton."

I was told that the "native" gray wolves had been wiped out by the introduction of the more dominant Canadian timber wolf.

Bad info on my part or misinformation in the article????
Anybody know?

The "Canadian timber wolf" is a gray wolf.
