Well this cwd program is wonderfull, even the heard reduction program is supper. Shoot 2 does earn a buck tag, 3 points or smaller, shoot 2 more does get another buck tag for any size. HMMMMM so why are there road kill does missing there heads, just so people can get a cheaper tag to take a trophy. yep that is wonder full, anyone else see something similar to that. last year I myself come across 5 road kill does missing heads. Why would i check what they were, if they are road kill, You can tell a buck from a doe when you are driving by, by the size of the body. This year since nov 1 i have come across 2 does and a buck (road kill) that have had their heads missing, And no it wasnt eat of by coyotes. |

The CWD Program is a great thing, unfortunately the land owner in the affected zones do not like to have us hunters shoot their deer. Prior to this years black powder season I went out to scout the country and speak to land owners. I stopped at no less than 10 farms to obtain permission and was denied at each and every one. As a landowner myself I understand their reasons but I don't think that they understand the ramifications of not reducing the size of the herd. Needless to say my partners and I did not hunt there. I understand that the Environment officers are going to do a large scale helicopter hunt to reduce the herd. Not the best way to do it but unfortunately the only way. _________________ A bad day hunting is better than a good day working!! |
