Glad to see that our DNR is paying attention to poaching. The damage that these poachers cause to our herds is significant. I sure hope that there on-going operations with regard to illegal marten trapping as well as big game. It has been widely speculated in fur harvesting circles that a large number of marten are taken up north before the season begins each fall.
I also hope that more hunters keep a sharp eye for anything suspicious in their neck of the woods....as responsible hunters, reporting illegal activity is one of the few ways to curb this threat to the game and fur-bearing animals of our province. _________________ Aim small.....miss small. |
