Northwest Territiories Plans Caribou Summit

A friend of mine, who is an outfitter for central barren ground caribou in the NWT said that the government was talking about taking away the non-resident quota held by the outfitters.......typically stupid move by government.

That idea met a lot of opposition, even from within the first nations communities, and has been put on hold for now.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, the results are from the Summit.
