With Rifle Season coming in a week away. I just wanted to ask Vermont Hunters a question. Its been a few years now since Vermont DFW had imposed the minimum 3 pt rule. Have any of you seen significant change in the numbers of the heard? I know where we go, 5yrs ago there were no deer at all. at least now we are seeing things again but not to the numbers of 10 yrs ago. I also see allot fewer hunters.

I've seen more buck, not necessarily more deer, but I have seen a lot of spike horns and a few small rack bucks. I think the law is helping and will continue to improved the number of mature buck in vt.
