Checked my trail cam couple days ago, and this is what I find! I know you other KS guys will share the same head scratch moment I had. Keep in mind this is very NE Kansas. No farm raised elk around the area. Guess is he escaped Fort Riley.

That's awsum! How far from Ft. Riley are you? They would LOVE to hear this! I'm on Ft. Riley and the conservation bldg ppl are only aware of the 3 (or so) herds on post.

I think about 90 driving miles, probably 65 by elk travel.

he should have a mom and dad real close maybe your game and fish dep transplanted some elk into your state. it kind looks like a fence post in front of the elk or is that a tree
