Now I have heard it all. The city of Halifax is offering digital cameras to anybody how turns in a working firearm to be destroyed. Brick Wall

First, the criminals don't need cameras they just steal them. This program is not going to do a lick for crime in our city. How damn stupid do they have to be to not realize that!

You know the answer to that question. I'm sure it made a lot of sense over tea and crumpets in the parlours of Hfx's south end. Just another sign of the urbanization of our country.

Thats the craziest thing i have ever heard of, i really don't see how that would make the community safer.

I thought of doing that very same thing. I see a couple of ads in the local papers saying that they will buy your firearms at FMV and some even say they will get you a camera if that is what you want.

On the other hand, if we could find some $50 single shot and trade if for a camera, sell the camera and buy more $50 shotties to trade again..... Think Evil!
