I got a txt from my buddy last night. He just returned from a two week hunting trip in unit 64 and I thought I would post this on his behalf. Since everyone likes seeing the huge monsters everyone else bags.

I only got bits and pieces of the story, but I guess several hunting groups knew about this bull and were up chasing him around. He just happened to be in the right spot at the right time with all the pressure on him. I'm suppose to go over this weekend and check him out. I will get the whole story and post.

Thats one monster bull. Theres no way I would have cut the skull cap off like that though. That beast would be full mounted on the wall.

Heck, I wouldn't have a wall big enough for a shoulder mount of that beast!! WOW!

looks like I posted a little too soon. now I feel a little bit foolish. Hunter G is right. I went over to my buddy's house tonight and there was no bull. His brothers name is actually Russell and looks just like the guy in the pic... which is why I believed him... even the pic had the file name "elk from Russell's phone" or something like that.

My apologies to everyone. I will get my facts straight before posting such material again. I never meant to pass on lies. I was put in the dark on the subject too.

Hey, mlcrhis2, as a moderator I can erase your `mistake' by deleting the whole string, or, if you prefer it remain as a learning tool, we can do that, also.
