I recently posted in the Midwest forum asking some questions about bear hunting in WV. After having no responses and viewing countless pages of other postings, it has occurred to me that there is very little chatter about West Virginia bear hunting. Am I wasting my time planning a bear hunt there???

West Va. ought to be full of bear, but I can't really help you on that one.

I have never hunted W Va but my hunting partner hunted there last year and they killed three bear in the week he was down there. They were running hounds.
