 Nice buck!
Our bow season opens on Saturday. It will be my sons first ever time hunting. He can only take a buck under the mentored youth hunt rules. Good luck to everyone this hunting season. Be safe.

After an hour of non stop moving and whispering he said "you said we could leave after an hour and an hours up" he was right! I said 5 more minutes he smiled and said OUT LOUD, "There are no deer here anyway".
SWHEW, SHWEW, SHWEW I looked at him and said "there goes your buck, OK lets go".
He had fun and wants to go again. Hopefully I will be posting his picture with his buck one of these days soon.

I've shot 3 does so far. However, I haven't taken any pictures. They sure are tasty though.

Between you and your wife, I think you have killed more deer than the rest of us combined!

I am pretty picky. If a buck is not four plus years and does not score at least 120 inches in Ga he gets a free pass. 140 on my Missouri and Kansas leases. We shoot our does as early as we can so our rut is better.
I have my sights set on a 160" here in Ga that I saw last season and have some trail pics of. I have let alot of deer walk this year, but it allways pays off.

I like to take older does out so I don't get busted as much. Those old does are as wary as any buck. I have my eyes on one doe down here that knows if a leaf has been turned over. She is number one on our hit list.
If someone asks me to shoot them a deer I will usually take the first doe that comes by if it is in the morning and the drag is not to far. They usually get a free walk in the afternoon.--- Usually that is.

Congrats - you're definitely on fire this year.
Riflr season's just opening up here - Friday in NS; Sat in SK; Monday in ON. We're only allowed 1 tag (most places) so you have to be a bit picky about how you use it. Most bowhunters I know are head hunters, the does usually get a break until week 2.
I'm off 5-15 Nov and hopefully will have some pics after that.
My level of "fussiness" is directly proportional to the amount of hunting time I have left. I've decided that this year its either a wall-hanger of buck or a doe - nothing in between. The numbers back home just aren't what they used to be - gotta give the 3-4 yr olds a break.
