I'm not sure exactly what you'll be allowed but your outfitter should be able to assist you.
Good luck and don't forget to include picture and the story of your hunt. |

in sept . expect rain ,snow, hail but lots of sunshine all in the same day ..i have a browning suit and it covers all of the above ..don't forget a fishing line .catch and release only ...[ but shoot the caribou before going fishing] your baggage will be weight at the airport [check to see how much ur groupe is allowed ] if u are overweight expect additinal cost $$$$$ ...i have a small packsack that i carry with me when i board the plane [don't have it weighted ] and i alway's put a sandwich ,candybar ,softdrink ,orange or an apple ..food on the plane is garbage .you should be ok with a box of bullets if u do your homework on the range [practice long shots 250 yds. ] also a good hunting knife to cut up ur caribou ,small foldable saw to remove the backbreast. i never open my caribou there is a special way for removing the front and rear quarters ,than from the back remove the backbreast with ur saw..
that should resume it .... _________________ BROWNING stainless/stalker .300wsm with boss

I hunted with club chambeaux in september of 2000 unguided and 2001 guided the migration was not near are camps either times but they flew us out to the herds there were caribou every where. I got a bull down and then a Bigger one would by at a couple hundred yards. If you hit the migration it is simply amazing Caribou every where dont shoot the first bull you see. _________________ The Lord is my Rock

thank you for the info, i have heard club chambeaux takes the time to move hunters to a better location when the caribou are not in the area. I am going alone and looking forward for this guided hunt if i enjoy it i want to try unguided hunt in a couple years. was there any hidden expenses that you were not aware of, and what items are you allowed to carry on your flight. _________________ MB |
