I wanted to do a mountain goat hunt and I found a hunting buddy wanted to do it too so we're planning for a 2010 hunt.

This gives me plenty of time to train and shoot.

I plan to take my .270 cooper.

We've haven't booked yet, so I am open to suggestions on outfitters.

Goats vary in price from $5,000 to $14,000 from what I have seen.

I checked out the website, but I am always wary of outfitters that do not list price.

7-day goat hunt is $8,330.00. Took me five seconds to write them and ask for a price list.

So why not just post the price list on the website like most outfitters do?

CVC...you asked for suggestions and I provided one. If you're hung up on the fact that they don't post a price sheet, find a different outfitter. Or, better yet, call the guy and see what he's all about. That should probably tell you more than a posted price list will anyway. Hell, for $8,000.00 I want to talk to the guy's Grandmother as well!!

BTW...I tried to attach their price list but the forum won't take a .pdf.

I'm with CVC on this one. I'm not sure why they can't post the price on the website to see if it's even in my price range. Since you've done the homework though Raghorn how much are the Dall Sheep hunts?

Dall Sheep hunts - $13,940 US...12-day hunt.

I tried to cut and paste the rate sheet...can you say Trainwreck!!! If you guys want it I can e-mail it to you...there is a ton of information on it.

By the way, I do not know this guy personally. I work with a fella who grew up with him in Whitehorse, YT. He and I were talking about moose hunts and he recommended I get in touch with this guy. I'm sure he's a fantastic outfitter. I just have a hard time with his prices, especially when you can hunt all of these species in Alaska for much less.
