So it looks like we might get the Wolf hunt here in Idaho... Should know more by the end of the month.
When it's legal, I'll be killing those Elk eating bastards with my Kimber of Oregon 89 BGR in 300 Win Mag stoked with 165 grain pills. The wife would like a vest but if I line up the shot properly I might be able to make her a coat !!!!

Here is a wolf story from off YouTube. Just seems appropriate to share it here.

Rogie, Hopefully you guys will be able to start thinning these hungry canines out soon. Sad to hear about the elk herd in Selway and other areas being killed off by these wolves. Treehuggers really don't care about the elk do they?

CVC, Those girls should have been packing a pistol or rifle. That's what wolves do, once they kill off the moose and other wild game they start eating dogs and livestock. Just think, they hunt wolves in AK and they are still that bold toward humans, just imagine how bold they become when they aren't hunted at all.

they were lucky for sure. i was in idaho deer hunting i was a bit concerned about the wolves, grizzles and moose. my friend live close to canada, and i heard the wolves. i had a 357 mag for a side arm but felt alittle naked lol. now i got a 44 mag so i hope if i get the chance to back there id even the odds alittle more. robert
