Well just got back from four great days of hunting with my daughter and oldest son. My son took a buck the second day (missed a huge buck opening morning) and my daughter took hers on the fourth evening.
We had great hunt and there is nothing better than enjoying the outdoors with the kids.
Heres Jacobs!
And Melissa's!

You can't beat that, being out with the kids and getting some meat.
By chance were you up in unit 21? The reason that I ask is the antlers and spreads just look like some that I have seen that have come from that unit. |

 Mark,
That is a 1967 Mossberg model 800C. The scope is a Bushnell Banner 3x9 also from 1967. It has litterally had 1,000's of rounds put through it and has killed more deer and elk than you can imagine. I was told the barrel was shot out back in the late 80's by a gunsmith, but to this day it still shoots a 1.5" group at 100 yards. |

Love those old Mossbergs.
I have a mid '70's 810-A in 30 .06 that shoots as accurate as any other that I have, even with the Weaver K-4 scope on it that I bought new in 1981.
Great looking Bucks.
My congrats to you and your kids.
You just can't beat memories of huntin with the kids. _________________ Hunt em hard when they are hard to hunt but never hardly hunt. |
