I am gathering resource material for a book about outfitters.
Would anyone like to share a story about a terrible experience they had with a outfitter?

How about this one. I booked a very expensive ($13.000) cape buffalo hunt on one of the best concessions in South Africa .
When I arrived I was told "I" had misunderstood the outfitter. The hunt area had been changed & the ph had not even been there before. He had the directions written on a piece of paper.
