| Not sure where your at with it. Bore sighted? If so, set up a target at 25yds and fire one shot at it. Now remove the adjustment caps and with rhe rifle on bags and held very steady, re-sight with the same sight picture then move the cross wires, with the adjustments, to the bullet hole. You have to watch the crosswires thru the scope so two people is a whole lot better. Next move to 100yds and do the same exact thing. Done right, your now dead on at 100yds. After that I'd suggest sighting in for max point blank range with the bullet your going to use at an 8" target. That way you'll make all the use you can of the cartridges trajectory befor you have to become a bonofied shooter. You'll probally be somewhere in the neighborhood of 3" high at 100yds, never rise over 4" above line of sight and at max point blank range, probally out somewhere around 275yds + or -, you should be 4" low. You'll only know for sure with live firing. Good luck! |
