rifle is a remington 700 adl 30-06. it is a vari x IIc. it's a 3x9. is it likely to be a decent scope?.....thanks. scott.

It is an excellent scope and carries a lifetime warranty. If your scope is less than perfect, send it back to Leupold and they will fix it for you or replace it at no charge.

Owning a Vari X II in 3-9X on one of my Remingtons I can second that opinion.

No longer offered by Leupold as the Vari X II as of a few years ago, it is made now and labled as the Leupold Rifleman and modified with a slightly ergonomic shaped tube. Both are a great quality scope at a very reasonable price.

The riflemen is not the old Vari X-II.The new Vari X-II is now called the Vx-II.

Actually the VX-II is not the old vari-x II. If you look at the options you will see the VX-II has a lot more options and is totally different.
