Hi all, I thought I'd share some of the photographs I took during my latest hunt - this time in Namibia.
One of my regular clients was on a business visit to South Africa and asked me if I could put something together for him on short notice. As this particular client had hunted with me on 5 previous occasions - every time in SA, we decided to do something different this time around and opted to go for the Namibian experience.
We hunted a game ranch in the Windhoek district and over a period of 5 days we were successful in bagging 2 kudu, 2 gemsbok and a springbok. Herewith a couple of pictures:
Gemsbok taken from 180 yards with a 7 X 57 Mauser
Client, tracker and I on the hunting vehicle
Big kudu - also taken with 7 X 57
Ready for supper in the riverbed
\
Rowland Ward kalahari Springbok
I can recommend Namibia to any hunters out there who are considering an African safari. The daily rates are affordable, animals plentiful and accommodations and catering outstanding.
Regards,
Chris |

Thanks Don, I hope to see a bit of the South West next month when I'm in the States. Unfortunately it will probably be cold and snowy  but on the upside I will be hunting white tail for the 1st time - something I'm looking forward to. :thumbsup1:
We really had a great time in Namibia and I'll try and post some more photo's as soon as my client has sent me some of the ones tat were taken with his camera. |

| Thanks for sharing those pictures. I really enjoy reading about hunting in other parts of the world. I am heading out soon for a whitetail bow hunt. Hunted yesterday morning and saw a small buck. We'll see what this afternoon brings. |

Good chance you won't run into a lot of snow in the S.W. next month. Where are you going?
Question about the photo's. I just noticed what looks like shot shell's in your client's shirt? Were you also hunting birds? |

| Yes we were hunting birds as well: guienea fowl, sand grouse and pigeons. Just for some fun. The wing shooting was excellent up there. I was invited to hunt white tail in North Carolina, Misouri and Wiscinsin and am really looking forward to it. |
