My favorite part is stalking them, without getting busted. I find it a real challenge unless I can find a deep draw to hide from all of those 8X eyes. What about you?

The wide open country. You gotta be on top of your game out there in the middle of the open.

I like not having to wake up at 4:30 AM to get to the hunting ground 60 to 90 minutes before sunrise, as you should do to hunt deer. You can wake up, eat a good breakfast, and mosey out to hunt about 9 AM or 9:30 AM and those pronghorn are still going to be out there waiting on you. I like being able to see pronghorn readily, even if mounting an effective stalk may be difficult. At least you know the animals are there and you know what quality of animals are present. I like the unique appearance and markings of the pronghorn antelope: they are WAY cool looking animals! I like the high success ratio for pronghorn antelope, not that I am unsuccessful deer hunting. I like being able to drive my truck right up to the kill site and loading my pronghorn, versus having to drag a deer over and up hills 1/2 mile.

Good posts guys! I love to watch the herd buck chase off all of the other bucks. I had one one year in WY who would not let another buck within 400-500 yards of his ladies. He would run them down and hook them right in the hock, incredible to watch him do that day after day. He finally crossed the fence onto our property and I got him. He was probably the meanest buck I've ever seen, just plain nasty.
Speedgoats are a blast to hunt. What else do you like about them. |

Antelope is the most challenging game to hung. I like this challenge. I try all techniques, spot and stalk, sitting in a ground blind, ambushing. But you never know what will work. I archery hunt antelope as it is the best. In the end it is not about getting the game, but what you can learn from what you did. And let me tell you this last four days I learned alot.
