Yes.........that was on the coast in the Bella Coola area. I use to guide for grizzly in that country. Now it is logged badly and there are a lot of people around. The territory belonged to Leonard Ellis.
I do not know its current status as much of it was up in the air....legality wise..... as to what they could or could not do with a quides quota. I do know that they said there would be no grizzly hunts conducted.
It all makes me laugh. It use to be that if a guide didn't use his quota the Ministry of Environment would threaten to take it away from you.........now the tree hugger types get involved and suddenly the rules seem to be changing.
They would be spending their money better if they fought to have more of the watersheds protected from further logging. Habitat and access are the key grizzly issue, not a few trophy boars getting hammered by hunters. |

| Never shot a Goat I enjoyed eating--only have shot two but both of them and ones buddies shot were tough and awful tasting--ok for sausage in small doses--do like domestric cabrito though. |
