| Hi , anyone know the size of the moose heard in the Adirondacks in New York? I’ve heard different numbers from 2 dozen to up to 200. The DEC says it’s growing . It sure would be nice to have a season here. Maybe our kids or grandkids might see it I hope. |

Hi ADK Jim:
Although I'm not a moose expert or follower of such reports, we know a Cranberry Lake, NY resident who's deep in the Adirondacks and has told us upwards of 100 moose now call the Adirondacks home.
A few years ago, a adult Bull Moose was observed and tracked by "experts" in south-central Pennsylvania following the ridges of the Appalachian Mountains.
At last report, the Pa. wandering moose had turned around and was once again heading back home to the north.
Apparently he saw how 'civilized' people lived in Pa & got homesick for his wild family.....

| Hi thanks John. How about big cats in the Adirondacks ? I saw a video of the one from the Canadan border camera. That was something. |
