Chester golf , I'm going to talk the park owner today and see what he says .If there is a way to make the DNR cooperate then maybe that's the way to go .I'll get back to you for some advice on that .We already set a snare but it keeps getting sprung .I set it up and he keeps setting it but a trapper he's not .Anyway I'll get back to ya later .

| Put a small (4-6") log in front of where the snare is set to make the bear step over the log and in the snare. Another animal like a crow or raccoon may be setting the snare off as well. |

Those are nice cats. I didnt get to call any last year, didnt get my license in time. Bet ya a dollar to your dime that I get'er done this year! Got lots of land and permission to hunt em. Just gotta get my electronic caller, and finish my ghille suit. Seperated burlap with the kids for about an hour last night.
I make it a contest, tell'em the nights best helper gets two dollars :thumbsup1: (they usually end up in a tie)!!!!! Cant keep'em interested any other way, and its great cheap labor. Couldnt imaging what my wife would make me fork over for pulling burlap strands for a couple hours, money or otherwise  . |
