Hey everyone I came across this site while searching for information on Hunting in Wyoming. Alot of good information here from some knowlegable hunters! I am setting up a hunt for myself and a couple friends before we graduate college and go our separate ways. The hunt will be this upcoming Fall 07 for Antelope and possibly Mulies in Wyoming. I was looking at area 108 for Antelope just south of Rawlins. It looks like there is alot of BLM land in the south 108, high drawing odds and 90% Harvest rates. Here is a map of the area http://www.mytopo.com/previews.....PE-108.jpg
Has anyone hunted this area? What kind of terrain can we expect? Enough water to hold game? Is this land easily accesible by road? any information regarding this area of hunting wyoming in general would be greatly appreciated. We have hunted together all our lives in Michigan's UP so we know how to hunt but this will be my first hunt out west so I'm looking forward to hearing what some of you have to say.
Thanks all....God Bless |
