| well , im wondering if i have the record for not drawing a sheep tag, this year will make 29 when i dont draw{notice a lack of confidince here} any other sob stories? |

| Whoa, that is a lot of years. Were you appying in particularly brutal (odds) places ... Unit 11 perhaps? |

| I haven't had the fever to hunt them until a few years ago. So this will be my 3rd. I just hope, I can hit on a Ram tag in my lifetime. |

I got extremely lucky but i didn't put in for a popular unit. So no record book but i sure do like looking at my ram on the wall, even if he isn't a book animal.
first year draw. i am on my 2nd year for my idaho goat. |

For the unit I like, 4 years for ewe, 12 years for ram.
I have killed a ewe there.
I think by the time I draw a ram tag I would be too old to hunt sheep. |

I started my 12 year daughter applying this year. If she stays healthy and still has the desire, she should be able to hunt them in the next 20 years or so.
I have a friend who drew both goat and sheep this year in Colorado and it was his first year in the draw lottery. In Colorado you have have 3 preference points to get into the lottery for rams, goat and moose. |
